The character appeared in many games outside the franchise and fans are optimistic about seeing this older but wiser version of Kratos appear in other games.

The theory suggests that each opponent that stands in the way of Kratos is one hurdle that needs to be removed to get to where he needs to be. The Ghost of Sparta was raised in war and will not rest until he reigns victorious.

Santa Monica Studio can get creative and feature the character in other games to shift the focus on his son, Atreus, as the lead of the next major project. Perhaps Kratos relaxes and spends his time from one place to another fighting foreign enemies.

Kratos has seen his share of blood and it does not bother him. Perhaps in his older age, he will be much more different and driven.
