Revenge of the Sith in Latest Limited Time Game Mode

Fortnite is always looking for new ways to give players the most original gaming experience. Thanks to a new limited-time mode, fans can revive an iconic cinematic moment from Star Wars. Midas Presents: The Floor is Lava makes players go into the normal map with a little twist; as time passes, all the map begins to be covered in lava. 

To survive, you have to go to high ground, as in the most iconic Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith moment: when Obi-Wan tells Anakin that it’s all over, he has the high ground; a couple body parts later, Darth Vader is born.

Fortnite’s Midas Presents: The Floor is Lava mode has some similarities with the Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith epic moment.

With every new season of Fortnite, Epic Games tries new ways to improve the game, like new weapons, new places in the map, or even new vehicles. With some popular IP collaborations, like Star Wars or Marvel, Fortnite often adds limited-time weapons that are related to the collaboration.

But every now and then, Fortnite makes special maps outside the normal Battle Royale to give players the possibility of gaining more experience.

In Midas Presents: The Floor is Lava, players can now play this mode, which is very similar to the Battle Royale. The only thing different is that all the maps quickly begin to fill with lava. You can build on the lava, but if you touch it, you get burned or even *******.

The main objective is to reach high ground, like Obi-Wan against Anakin in Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. If you get quickly to high ground, you can survive as the famous jedi. This limited time event has a ton of quests to complete, all with 10,000 XP as a reward.

Fortnite keeps making awesome new modes.

In this limited mode, after a while, you will automatically receive materials to build and save yourself from the lava. The other feature of this mode is that almost all the weapons are Midas-related. There are also other key items that will help you survive the lava, such as the bounce block or the Shockwave Grenade. Midas Presents: The Floor is Lava is the first of many limited-time events.

The guest character of this Chapter 5 Season 2, Myths and Mortals, is reportedly Korra from the Nickelodeon hit series that is a sequel to Avatar: The Last Airbender. It will probably be another limited-time collaboration as a mid-season event; the past season was the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
