Ολοκληρώθηκαν τα φιλικά της ΑΕΚ επί ολλανδικού εδάφους με την αναμέτρηση κόντρα στη Γάνδη. Η Ένωση προηγήθηκε δις με γκολ των Λιβάι Γκαρσία και Λάζαρου Ρότα, αλλά οι Βέλγοι βρήκαν απάντηση και το παιχνίδι έληξε ισόπαλο (2-2) χωρίς νικητή.

Η αποστολή των «κιτρινόμαυρων» επιστρέφει στην Ελλάδα την Πέμπτη (11/07) ύστερα από 17 ημέρες στην Ολλανδία. Επόμενο φιλικό παιχνίδι και τελευταίο πριν τις ευρωπαϊκές υποχρεώσεις για τα προκριματικά του Europa Conference League στις 18 Ιουλίου στην Κύπρο με την Ομόνοια.
