Ben Christelis: Mum’s desperate plea for information on missing 15-year-old last seen in Scarborough

A heartbroken single mum has made a desperate appeal for the public to help find her 15-year-old son who went missing from Scarborough a week ago.

Olivia Hunter Hosie, has taken to social media in the hope someone might have information on her son Ben Christelis, who was last seen leaving his Scarborough home last Thursday, about 1pm.

Ms Hosie said her son told her he was going to return home from the city about 6pm and hasn’t been heard from or seen since.

“Ben was bullied terribly in school this year and last,” she wrote.

“He is not a strong **** and certainly not able to ****** or defend himself. He has been bashed on multiple occasions.

“Ben has a huge heart, he loves dogs and is so kind to younger children.

“As a single working mum, I have done my best to help him and keep him safe. Our home is a loving, peaceful space where we welcome many of his friends who are not so fortunate.

“I have exhausted every avenue I can possibly think of to try and find him.”

Ms Hosie said she had walked about 20km across the Perth CBD and “covered every street” to hand out photos of Ben.

Police have called for urgent information about the teen’s whereabouts, saying there are concerns for his ********.

Ben is described as being approximately 176cm tall, of slim build, with shaved short brown hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a dark-********* hooded jumper, ****** track pants, ****** and white checked Vans shoes and a ****** backpack.

Anyone who sees Ben, or who has any information relating to his whereabouts, are urged to call police on 131 444.
