Once Human, then there is a way you can change your appearance— so long as you’re willing to pay for it.

It’s not ideal, and you need an item known as a Chrysalis Token to start the process of turning your character from what you have into what you want, but if you are too far into the game and don’t want to restart from scratch, the only way to change your character is through this method.
