WA Labor earns more than $120,000 in first week of new donation laws

WA Labor’s bid for a third term received a healthy financial boost last week, earning more than $120,000 in donations in just four days under the State’s new disclosure regime.

Under the new laws, which came into effect last Monday, political parties must disclose donations received within a week of receipt. Labor logged $122,300 in the first week.
