With all of the new stuff to keep track of, it can be super confusing. One kind Redditor has taken it upon themselves to share a quick guide on maximizing these rewards, and their advice isn’t just for new players—everyone should take note.

By the end of Naraka: Bladepoint‘s Prosperous Grotto event, you can accumulate nearly 20,000 points. That can be worth a great reward, but only in the hands of someone who knows exactly how to use it.

Thankfully, user wu11 has the perfect advice for people looking for a general guide on how to spend their points.

They strongly advise against spending these hard-earned points on random chests. Sure, you could get something really good, but you could also get a complete dud item.

Instead, they recommend saving your points for valuable items like the Ultimate/Ability Changing Accessory, especially if you have a hero who can use it.

For example, last year, OP managed to snag the squirrel grappling *****—an item they would never have bought with real money—by grinding the event. The event allowed them to get it for free, and it wasn’t a complete game of chance.

They suggest rerolling until the item you want appears. Avoid spending points on purple or blue rarity items, and definitely steer clear of random chests that might yield terrible rewards. With this strategy, you can make the most of this event.

While Naraka: Bladepoint has its issues, it’s great to see a generous event like this. However, the rewards don’t come easy.

When you reroll or ‘refresh’ the store offerings until it starts selling you something you want, you’ll have to use the precious points you accumulated.

As such, there’s a certain amount of luck that plays into getting a ‘guaranteed’ item from the store. For this reason, OP recommends budgeting 10,000 points just for refreshing.

It’s up to you whether you want to take the gamble of refreshing the store or drawing a legendary item from the chests. You could end up with absolutely nothing, or some great items.

Thankfully, the Prosperous Grotto event isn’t the only exciting thing happening right now.
