has added not just a fully customizable main character but also the option to play as a sorceress, which comes with its own quest line, combat system, and more.

created the Custom Player Characters mod, which lets players step away from role-playing Geralt of Rivia and instead create their own unique protagonist. Every character model in the game can be pulled from, with players able to mix and match body parts to create their ideal monster slayer.

The most impressive part of the mod comes in the sorceress additions, however. Not only can players, again, pull from every model in the game to create a custom character, but the mod adds its own combat system separate to how the main game plays.

Instead of swinging swords at baddies, players instead wield spells such as blasting lightning, summoning tornadoes, and even turning into a cat. Abilities outside of combat allow portals to be made or lights to be cast in dark areas. A custom quest line walks players through these spells and teaches them new ones too.
