Here we go again… filming of TV commercial closes roads

HOPEWELL — A television commercial will be filmed in Hopewell on Monday, July 8. The company who will be filming downtown will work closely with the city of Hopewell and DMV. According to a notification presented to a merchant in the area, all necessary permits and permissions have been acquired by the company who will film downtown. They stated they “are working closely with the city of Hopewell and the DMV.”

Residents and business patrons who live and/or work in the area will still have access at all times. Between the hours of 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. no parking signs will be posted along with certain times for designated blocks.

Between 6 a.m. and 11 a.m., E. Broadway between Route 10 and Hopewell Street will be closed, and between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., Library Street between E. Cawson and E. Broadway will be closed. Intermediate traffic control will take place on E. Broadway between 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. There will be no street parking a half block in each direction from the intersection of Library Street and E. Broadway between the hours of 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
