Marvellous Munhamek makes it three on the bounce in Winter Championship

Resilient rising nine-year-old Munhamek completed a hat-trick with a comprehensive win in the Listed VRC CRV Winter Championship Series Final at Flemington on Saturday despite carrying 60.5kg.

The topweight, who carried a heavier impost than any other winner of the race this century, settled in the second half of the field in the early stages and was caught wide without cover.
