Shadow of the Erdtree Fans Argue the Elden Ring DLC is ******* After the Nerfs

Usually, when a game patch is released after many complaints from the players, it is to fix the particular issue everyone was upset about. However, FromSoftware seems to have taken a different approach once again, bringing changes to the latest Elden Ring update that no one could have seen coming.

Introducing an end to the dominance of some items first introduced in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, the game’s version 1.12.3 is arguably for the worse than the better, prompting a few players to post on social media platforms and call the change out.

Why Elden Ring’s Latest Patch Is a Nightmare for Players

For context, the unforeseen changes introduced in the said update fix many bugs players have been using to gain an advantage on the battlefield. These changes include fixing the infamous double-damage lightning and frenzyflame perfume bottles and making one of the weapons entirely useless in some aspects.

Most of these items that were removed from combat were essentially being used by players facing a hard time battling the new and tougher bosses introduced in the Realm of Shadow. This has made their disappearance even more bothersome for these players.

The players have ultimately voiced their concerns regarding how nearly every way to ‘cheese’, or defeat bosses in the game in an easier manner has now been nerfed, putting everyone back to square one.

Elden Ring Lacks in One Aspect, According to **** of War Director David Jaffe

Renowned for his work in the early **** of War installments, David Jaffe is another video game director who recently shared his views on Elden Ring and its mechanics, explaining how he believes there is one area where the game majorly lacks.

The director shared how Hidetaka Miyazaki refuses to add an option to toggle the difficulty as he believes in making use of all the aid provided in the game.

This is something that also does not go well from the perspective of a player, as the game has a lot of secretiveness and a lack of communication to tell its players about the items provided.

David Jaffe ultimately shared how Miyazaki already knows where each item is placed, making it easier for him to go around conquering The Lands Between, while other players struggle to understand even a bit of what is going on.
