This particular user recommended that multiplayer matches have a special mode where teams of up to 16 or even 30 players face off. Many users disagreed, saying that the cover-based mechanics, one of the main features of this franchise, would not be compatible with so many players on screen.

Even one of the issues with the previous installment was that players bounced off walls a lot, making the gameplay annoying.

One of the characteristics of this title is that players do need cover to ****** their enemies. This makes gameplay very difficult in open areas, as the player will not be able to take cover properly to survive.

Beyond the game’s inherent limitations, the studio could explore more in the multiplayer mode to entice fans back to try this mode in particular, which was vastly criticized for making no sense.

Gears of War: E-Day currently has no release date but is scheduled to arrive sometime in 2025, exclusively for PC and Xbox. This game could be the grand return of this franchise, which has not had the popularity it deserves lately.
