A Redditor recently posted a bizarre screenshot to the Pokemon Go subreddit under a post titled “I’m the one mega evolved now.” At a glance, you might be confused as to what you’re looking at.

After a second or two, the answer might hit you in the face—the OP is showing their trainer as an oversized giant, taking up the entire screen.

There’s humor surrounding this particular glitch, but some players have been facing more pressing issues.

One of the most recent causes of discourse is the Shiny Celebi event, which bars players who participated in an older event from paying to join the new one. Many fans have consequently felt excluded and ignored by the developers.

Leaving that aside, there are problems with the game that have existed since day one. The buddy system is one of the biggest issues that players have complained about time and time again, but Niantic has yet to address it.

As we mentioned earlier, the gigantic trainer bug is harmless and funny. Unfortunately, it also opens the floodgates for more serious issues to be brought up.
