How to Finish In Search of the Relic Bunny Quest in The First Descendant

The First Descendant has several unlockable or purchasable Descendants, and what is amazing about the game’s design is that they have some exclusive quests tied to them. One of the most popular characters, Bunny, has a long quest chain where you must search for records that don’t appear on the map. The In Search of the Relic Bunny quest is the third quest, and here’s how you can finish it in The First Descendant.

The “In Search of the Relic” Bunny quest starts after finishing the Complete the Traces quest in The Ruins map. You need to find the records related to her parents in the Derelict Covert battlefield in the Echo Swamp area.

That means you have to finish the chain missions in the Echo Swamps to access this battlefield. Assuming that Bunny is already your 2nd character and you have progressed long enough on your first character, you should have this area unlocked. It should look quite familiar, too.

You can find the record on one of the treetops, the highest one near the edge of the map. You can use your Grappling ***** to climb from the bottom or use the moving blue platforms to navigate from treetop to treetop. Once you reach the specific treetop, as seen in the images above, you still need to use the Grappling ***** near the middle metallic sphere structure. Position yourself so you overlook the other treetop on the side, and you’ll find the record on the floor.

To finish the quest, you still need to use and listen to the new record in your journal. Go to your journal screen and select the “Records” tab. Look for the Descendant category and press the “Incomplete Chat Log” record to play it.

Once you have played it, you can close the menu or go back to your quest log. The In Search of the Relic quest should be finished, and your next quest should be called “Living Witness,” where you’ll need to talk to Anais back in Albion. If you are getting tired of these puzzles, you can focus on unlocking other Descendants in between missions so you don’t get burnt out.
