**** of War’s David Jaffe Goes in on Bloodborne In Slight Dig as He Dissects FromSoftWare

The legacy that FromSoftware has managed to build itself over the years was with the help of amazing RPG titles that have never disappointed fans. However, the ****** sheep of this series of games ******** Bloodborne, a title that was released exclusively for PlayStation and ******** locked there to date.

Furthermore, being one of the most unique releases the studio has ever done, the game has also built a separate following of its own. David Jaffe, the director of the initial **** of War games on the other hand believes that the game might be a victim of exaggeration instead.

Not only Jaffe is known for being the director of one of Sony’s most successful franchises yet but is also known for being the lead on the Twisted Metal series, which should be enough to account for his expertise in the field.

In one of his recent live streams on

, the director stated how FromSoftware’s last major dark fantasy release before Elden Ring was Bloodborne, further mentioning how the much-hyped title sold about 5 million copies, which might be enough to consider it successful, but it is not a ‘mega thing’.

While this is a statement that will make many fanatics of the game go ****, it unfortunately stays true. Nonetheless, Bloodborne’s large popularity and fanbase remain an impressive feat bearing in mind how it ******** locked behind the exclusivity of Sony’s platform, but that should not be enough to equate it as the best.

It was eventually Elden Ring that brought the studio to the much-needed spotlight after the Dark Souls trilogy, selling over 25 million copies, with an additional 5 million units of its Shadow of the Erdtree DLC selling out within just 3 days of its launch.

Why Bloodborne ******** Undefeated in Its Own Right

Despite the Game of the Year 2022 winner being the best-performing franchise of the studio, stays a cult classic in its own right, even being Hidetaka Miyazaki’s favorite creation of all time.

In an interview, the director stated how the 2015 title is too close to his heart, being the first game in which he was able to truly experiment and implement his ideas properly, and being the one that truly ‘struck him’.

Ultimately, it all does not matter at the end of the day, as every piece of work ever produced by FromSoftware is one of its kind, with many of them even earning their place as a cornerstone of the industry and having a legacy like no other.
