A Clear Winner Emerges Between Fortnite’s 2 Best Modes

The big question for Fortnite players now is: do you prefer Season OG or Reload? Reload was added to the game in late June; essentially, it is a 40-player game mode that allows team members to reboot as long as one member is still alive.

Fortnite OG last year saw a return to classic seasons, but with a few twists. But now fans have been discussing which mode they prefer, and a clear winner seems to have been found.

Most gamers tend to enjoy a look into the past, which makes sense for players to enjoy a game mode that brings them back to the start of Fortnite’s history that took place so many years ago, whereas Reload seems to be just a re-skinned version of Warzone’s Resurgence mechanic.

The consensus seems to be that Season OG was a more fun and less sweaty game mode, with many sharing that opinion; one said, “It’s hard enough to ***** a really good player now you have to do it multiple times.” Many also lament that solos are missing from Reload, so you are forced to play with others instead of being able to take on the game alone.

It was also pointed out that solos would not work in Reload since you need a team to, well, reload.
