Switzerland’s win over Italy means England avoided a potential repeat of the Euro 2020 final.

Italy, who beat England on penalties at Wembley to win the last ********* Championship, were deservedly dumped out.

Euro 2024 quarter-finals (all times BST)

A – Spain v Germany – Friday, 5 July, 17:00, Stuttgart.

B – Portugal v France – Friday, 5 July, 20:00, Hamburg.

C – England v Switzerland – Saturday, 6 July, 17:00, Dusseldorf.

D – Romania or Netherlands v Austria or Turkey – Saturday, 6 July, 20:00, Berlin.
