Capcom’s Dino Crisis Post Sends Fans into a Frenzy Days After Survey Put it at Top Spot for a Remake

A few hundred video game franchises are released every decade, yet only a few are able to leave a legacy behind them, and one of them is Dino Crisis. Published by Capcom, the series held dominance in the 1990s and the early 2000s. Holding a special spot in everyone’s heart, gamers over the years have been requesting the studio to follow up on the franchise, which was to no avail.

However, every fan is filled with joy once again as it seems that while no official remake or a sequel of the original games has been announced yet, the studio has not forgotten one of their best works yet.

account, the studio responsible for publishing the said franchise celebrated the game hitting the silver jubilee milestone, stating how it was this very day, i.e. 1st July that the first Dino Crisis game was released back in 1999.

As one would expect, this post was received warmly by the fans, who appreciated the studio on remembering the players’ favorite franchise, and also stated yet once again that many are still looking forward to a remake or a remaster of the games to this day.

The plot follows a team of special operatives as they investigate different islands and research facilities, only to find themselves fighting for their survival against a barrage of dinosaurs. The 5 different titles, that released throughout 1999 to 2005 managed to capture the essence of the prehistoric species like no other production at the time, hence becoming the favorite choice of many back then.

Ultimately, it ******** up to the studio if they are willing to invest in a remake or a sequel of a decades-old video game series, which is undoubtedly still loved by many who would ****** to relive the first-time experience of playing Dino Crisis, as they once did in their childhoods.

What makes the above-stated news exciting for fans is how it was rumored recently that the video game series has been finally slated to get a sequel. The ***** was first shared by an industry insider back in February, who claimed how a sequel is already on its way, being in active development by the studio.

Additionally, while there is no official announcement of the same, it ******** a predicatable move by Capcom, especially after the series won first place in a survey hosted asking fans which franchise they would like a to see a sequel for.

At the very end of the day, it ******** a huge opportunity to be missed by the ********* developing house if they do not move swiftly and capture all the buzz that has been building around, causing fans to lose interest and assume that a new installment will never be made into reality.
