If you haven’t heard, there were some rumors about a Days Gone sequel, which sparked a series of back-and-forth responses from officials. And it seems we have a new one, as former director John Garvin clashed with Bend Studio’s community manager, Kevin McAllister, on social media.

Garvin, known for his outspoken views on the sequel’s potential, reiterated his stance in response to McAllister’s apology to fans.  Garvin responded aggressively, highlighting his role in creating the game and questioning McAllister’s qualifications.

While McAllister refrained from naming individuals, the fallout from Garvin’s earlier remarks about trilogy plans filled the Days Gone community with a lot of hope.

I’ve been gaming since the 80s and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a fanbase want a sequel more then the DG community. I’ve played and replayed it so many times on different consoles including PC. I hope it happens.
