Fortnite players have mixed feelings about the latest season and the developers need to have a keen pair of eyes and ears before losing the interest of the gaming community. The developers are playing a dangerous game that could put the trust built with the fans at risk.

Epic Games has done an impressive job with its live service game since it started and has shown signs of great improvement. However, the developers often lose sight of the community’s interests and needs by adding absurd content that wouldn’t appeal as much.

Epic Games is doing everything humanly possible to keep the gaming community interested and invested in its live service game. The developers released a new game mode called Reload and it was well-received, and it will be even more so now that duos and trios will be added as an option for competitive Fortnite players to put their skills to the test.

Unfortunately, the fans have picked up on a pattern that could lead to the game’s downfall. Epic Games is trying hard to appeal to casual gamers by adding an absurd amount of content that makes this season ******* for competitive players to flourish.

I could be wrong but i feel like epic took the worst possible route with this season.

They HEAVILY appealed to the casual player base which made the comp players ****, then they slowly made the casual players **** by nerfing everything.

now NOBODY is happy. :/

Popular personalities like Ninja expressed their profound disappointment about the latest season. The developers made the vehicles much deadlier with the addition of mounted weapons that could obliterate anything or anyone standing in their way.

Perhaps the developers underestimated the backlash from the competitive players and went overboard to please casuals. Some players believe this season is a the prime example of what fun and toxic looks like and the developers should reconsider making some necessary adjustments.

Balancing and scaling are essential aspects of a live service project; the weapons and equipment need to be working as intended to avoid any problems for the player base. Some fans are already anticipating that the overpowered machine guns on vehicles will most likely be nerfed like many other previous features.

The gaming community can be a tough crowd to please but this one complaint has some validity. Perhaps the developers should refocus on what matters and give the competitive players the content and support they need to sharpen their skills even more.

Epic Games must never lose sight of the ******* picture and succumb to shortcuts or easier methods that would help increase the player count. The live service structure is perfect to bring out the best of players and beat the m up to shape to face other equally skilled players.

There is nothing wrong with some friendly competition but the developers should keep that in mind while working on new content. The deadlier vehicles are a great addition but not everyone will grow to appreciate these things in competitive matches.
