The console’s debut came right off the heels of ***** throwing in the towel in the console market, thus making room for a new competitor for Nintendo and Sony’s six-generation systems. It was truly a bold move and one that came with value. Despite its ups and downs, the brand has released some incredible titles that have defined an entire generation of gamers. There’s a reason why classic Xbox games are still being ported to modern-day consoles: they’re simply the peak of gaming. Some Classic Games to Try Out this Summer Let’s take a look at 5 classic games that still hold up today and can be enjoyed at any time. 5. Lost Odyssey This game is basically Final Fantasy. | Image Credits: GameRandomly ( This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up ) When Lost Odyssey was released way back in 2007, it managed to shatter all experiences and stand out as a real competitor to the Final Fantasy franchise. It’s more of an old-school RPG, but it still manages to do a lot of modern RPG titles. Despite being published by This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up , we don’t see the title on Game Pass! However, you can pick up the game at a low price as it tends to go on ***** frequently. 4. Call of Duty 2 This game brings a classic experience. | Image Credits: Activision You’ll probably be surprised to know that Call of Duty 2 was one of the major exclusives back in the day! Even before This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up ’s recent acquisition of Activision, the two companies have a long relationship. Since it was launch title, it doesn’t have a phenomenal or game-changing multiplayer element like the future games. However, it features a campaign that brings arguably the best WW2 experience and immerses you right into the war. 3. Forza Horizon 4 The ultimate racing title. | Image Credits: Steam It’s a known fact that exclusives for the newer generation of Xbox consoles are rare in the all-time department, but Forza Horizon 4 manages to check all the boxes. It’s one of the greatest and best-looking race games of all time that has managed to outdo Sony’s Gran Turismo series. It’s sad to see that the game is getting removed from digital stores soon. Let’s hope that the publishers can give us a similar experience to that of the previous entries. 2. The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings This is one of CD Projekt Red’s greatest creations. | Image Credits: Steam This is another game you would have never guessed was an Xbox exclusive. The Witcher trilogy is perfect, but many gamers have only experienced the third installment. The Witcher 2, being right in the middle chapter, sets up a lot of events of The Witcher 3 and flows fantastically if you experience one right after one. While it’s not as massive as The Witcher 3, it still delivers an adventure that can’t be forgotten. It’s a must-play RPG! 1. Halo 2 One of the top Xbox exclusives you can’t miss out on. | Image Credits: Steam The original Halo was a phenomenal success and changed the brand’s trajectory, unlike other games. Its sequel, Halo 2, managed to shatter all expectations and surpass the original game. It’s still regarded as one of the best FPS campaigns in terms of level design, fun factor, music, and, most crucially, story. The game’s multiplayer was the first of its kind and was quite literally game-changing. Its impact is still seen today in modern games. What do you think of our list? What are your picks?
