, Dring and his co-host, Editor-in-Chief James Batchelor, discuss all of the recent summer showcases and look forward to discuss how the rest of the year unfolded. In the process, the development cycle timeline and team size of Astro **** can heard mentioned by Christopher.

“I’ve played it, it’s amazing. It took about three years to make, 60 people made it, I think it fits in with…I think it’s going to be an interesting little project that one.”

Astro’s Playroom, the last title developed by Team Asobi, was bundled into every PS5 as a pack-in title. The game served as a tech demo showcasing the power of the PS5 and the features of the new DualSense controller such as haptic feedback. Despite its original purpose, Astro’s Playroom was regarded as a darling among PlayStation enthusiasts leaving players wanting for a full-length title featuring the robotic mascot.
