FF14 Dawntrail: No Spoilers Asks Square Enix

Square Enix has released a blog post providing information on how to access the upcoming expansion for early access and has asked players to refrain from posting “spoiler-related content.” 

Early access begins June 28 at 2:00 AM, PDT and will end on July 5 at 11:59 PM. If you are planning to play the early on consoles, you need not take any extra steps beyond purchasing the expansion. If you are a PC player, you will need to register a pre-order bonus code in order to participate.

, Square added that while players will have “no restrictions” on the kind of content they can post during early access, they do ask that players “please be considerate and do their best to avoid posting spoiler-related content,” in order to protect players who are not participating in early access. 

Dawntrail marks a brand new chapter in the history of the massive MMORPG. It introduces two new classes into the game, the Viper and Pictomancer, and is sure to be packed with new quests, dungeons, and raids for players to explore. 

This expansion also serves as a new beginning coming off of the critically acclaimed Endwalker expansion which capped off a years long multi-expansion story arc. With a new beginning in mind, it makes sense why Square Enix would want to keep details under wraps for all players to enjoy when the expansion officially releases in full July 2.
