However, these don’t interrupt the actual gameplay in most cases. With the launch of the Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, a lot of players are running into the ‘Inappropriate Activity Detected’ error, and here are a few things you can do to fix that. For most users, this error shows up when they’re trying to summon another user. It can be pretty frustrating, especially when you don’t have any mods installed. It’s also affecting Steam Deck users, which the developers are aware of. It’s a bug with Easy Anti-Cheat, which we’re hopeful that the developers will address in a hotfix. In the meantime, here are a few things you can do to potentially fix this. First, make sure your game files are in order, and there isn’t anything missing or broken. Multiple users have confirmed that simply verifying their game files through the Steam client fixes the error.
