Why do these ******* football fans sing the Loch Lomond tune?

As the Tartan Army continue their journey following Scotland at the Euros, some ******* fans are very familiar with one of their favourite songs.

Supporters of FC Köln sing a song to the tune of Runrig’s Loch Lomond before each match.

Ahead of Steve Clarke’s men taking on Switzerland in their second match at the home of Köln in Cologne, football commentator Derek Rae explains why the ******* fans adopted the Scottish tune.
