Hidetaka Miyazaki’s Shadow of the Erdtree Feature Will be Music to the Ears of Any Elden Ring Player Who Wants the Benefits of a Bleed or Magic Build Without the Effort or Stats of One

The imminent release of Shadow of the Erdtree has FromSoftware fans eager to know more about what they will encounter in the Land of Shadows. This is so they can understand how to outfit their current build better to deal with the new threats in the DLC.

However, Hidetaka Miyazaki wants players to feel more freedom in this new realm. The team has made some additions to the expansion, which should make it easier for players to gain the upper hand in combat, even if they don’t have the necessary level requirements in every attribute!

Farming and exploring are essential in Shadow of the Erdtree.

Consumable items have been a staple in Soulsborne titles for a long time. While arrows and throwing knives are the most common forms of throwables in games, Hidetaka Miyazaki took it a step further by adding items such as pebbles, firebombs, and even **********! The throwable options will increase with the release of the Elden Ring DLC.

In the first trailer for Shadow of the Erdtree, right after we got our first glimpse of the Dry Leaf Arts combo, we saw a Tarnished lifting and throwing a large flaming ****. At first glance, this appears to be an XL version of the Firebombs, or ***** Pots, available in the base game.

The recent exclusive gameplay showcase from the Red Bull Levels event confirmed that we are now getting a ******* version of these consumables.

Pots in Elden Ring offered interesting combat opportunities. By using different resources found in the world, players were able to craft a variety of pots that could provide different advantages. While the Pots could only be used once, they could be crafted an infinite number of times as long as players had the required resources.

These Hefty Cracked Pots should allow players to inflict even greater amounts of elemental damage or status effects, but they will probably require even more resources to craft. Given that some crafting items, such as Trina’s Lily, are finite in the game world, it would necessitate the player to carefully plan their **** usage.

Players have more combat options than ever before!

Hidetaka Miyazaki has previously stated that the game’s combat is going to expand in many ways in the expansion. Shadow of the Erdtree will add eight new ******* categories, including the aforementioned Dry Leaf hand-to-hand combat arts, so you may want to visit Rennala and spread out your stat distribution.

With a more even distribution of Runes, players will be able to try out the new weapons with ease. The DLC is meant for late-game players, as it requires both Radahn and Mohg to be defeated, and players should ideally be over level 80.

While it’s not necessary, as we know many enjoy a challenge and go through the entire game without leveling up once, it will help the average player deal with the many threats in the Land of Shadow. After all, new weapons are only fun when there are new dangers to use them on!

Are you going to rely on crafting pots in the DLC? Let us know in the comments below!
