Diamond Member Pelican Press 0 Posted March 19, 2024 Diamond Member Share Posted March 19, 2024 Dragon’s Dogma 2 players have created a horrifically hideous Moogle from Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Dragon’s Dogma 2 has a remarkably robust character creator, and players have been sharing their custom creations ahead of the game’s official launch via the character creator and storage demo released by Capcom. One player has gone way too far, though, and they’ve recreated the odd-looking Moogles from Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth in a grotesquely realistic fashion. People already thought the Moogles in Rebirth looked a little off, but this is on another level entirely. We got a great character creator in Dragon’s Dogma 2, but at what cost? Not only does this hideous human/Moogle hybrid have full all over their body and a fully accurate Moogle nose, but the creator has also used Dragon’s Dogma 2’s character customization system to its fullest by removing specific teeth from the monstrosity’s mouth to better match the buck-toothed appearance of the Moogles in Rebirth. Even the ears look like they’ve been ripped straight from a plush toy. It’s uncanny. The Moogles in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth came under ***** on social media following the game’s release a few weeks ago, with several people preferring the classic cute and cuddly Moogle design from other Final Fantasy games over the humanoid ones featured in Rebirth. Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth’s gorgeous graphics only made those Moogles look even stranger, too, which fueled the ***** even further. It reached the point where Square Enix stepped in and defended the Moogles on This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up , standing up for their furry friends and putting an end to the discourse once and for all. It was all in good fun, of course, but the timing lined up perfectly with the release of Dragon’s Dogma 2’s character creator demo, leading to the Moogle monstrosity you see before you. Unfortunately, you may see this Moogle wandering around in your Dragon’s Dogma 2 world once the game releases if this creator has set them as a Pawn and not their custom main character. Pawns are summonable party members in Dragon’s Dogma 2, and while you can search for Pawns that meet specific criteria like Vocations, they also travel between towns and interact with you if you happen to pass by. If you see this furry fiend during your adventure in Dragon’s Dogma 2, you’ll be able to recruit him to your party and travel alongside him. Because the game has such a robust character creator, you can also find recreations of characters from Lord of the Rings and more, too. PC Invasion is supported by our audience.
