It was not that long ago when Helldivers 2 was ruling the video game industry and winning the hearts of millions of gamers, but everything seems to have a specific time ******* of supremacy because the title is not the heavenly experience that it used to be. Sure, it is definitely on the right path once again, especially after some hurdles that Arrowhead Game Studios recently went through.

But as players try their best to immerse themselves in the multiplayer mayhem once again, they are coming across certain hindrances that are not really helping the game’s case.

Another Helldivers 2 Patch Means More Problems for the Players

******* nerfs may not have been the worst thing ever, but Helldivers 2‘s latest game-breaking bugs are definitely proving to be.

Patches and updates are supposed to be welcome additions to a live-service video game as they keep the title alive, but with Helldivers 2, the situation could not be more different.

Although Arrowhead Game Studios seemed quite excited to launch its latest patch, it has not had the greatest reception from Helldivers 2 players, as there have been numerous reports of the game crashing after the new update was released.

Great, but this patch introduced a myriad of game breaking bugs. My teammate dropped a dropship and my entire game turned white, I couldn’t see anything. Dying didn’t fix it, so I had to leave the mission:

Accompanied by video proof that showcased the unfortunate incident one Helldiver had to go through, a player reported that various “game breaking bugs” have accompanied the new patch, forcing them to quit the mission in the middle because even dying was not fixing the issue.

It would not have been a problem if this was a one-time thing, but unfortunately, other players in the Helldivers 2 community have also been reporting similar instances.

Well, I don’t know, after the patch I can’t play the match. Something is different, we are literally being massacred at lvl 7, where until the patch I was able to play bots and bugs without any problems.

The lucky players whose game has not crashed yet have been coming across other issues, making it extremely difficult to complete any kind of objective when the enemies keep devouring Super Earth’s soldiers.

To No One’s Surprise, the ******* Nerf Problem Keeps Persisting

The latest patch was speculated to fix the ******* balancing, but it has, for some reason, nerfed even more weapons.

Although the game’s official Discord community manager, Twinbeard, made it clear that fans should keep their expectations in check regarding the latest patch, it was still speculated to at least fix some of the ******* balancing issues that have been hurting Helldivers 2 for quite some time.

Unfortunately, Arrowhead Game Studios was seemingly aware that the player base would absolutely loathe the developer if it introduced more nerfs, so it took a bit of a sneaky approach.

The recoilless rifle has an unlisted 1.5 second reload nerf. I don’t know why you guys seemingly take the game in a good direction but nerf a **** that requires a backpack, ridiculous amount of kiting, and taking advantage of the 2 stage reload to work. I’m scared of finding more…

With the latest unlisted nerfs that some players have been witnessing in Helldivers 2, it is raising some questions regarding how many other weapons got impacted due to the new patch.

While other live-service video games like Destiny 2 have seemed to find their footing with highly anticipated expansions such as The Final Shape, Helldivers 2‘s rough patch keeps persisting, which could see players eventually jumping ship unless Arrowhead Game Studios listens to community feedback.
