Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time Remake Is Coming In 2026

Prince of Persia: The Sands Of Time made a brief appearance during Ubisoft’s Forward event, but seriously, only barely. Ubisoft just had to confirm that the game is still in development, but we won’t get our hands on it until 2026.

This game has been plagued by development issues since day one. Initially, Ubisoft Pune and Ubisoft Mumbai were supposed to be in charge, but in 2022, they decided to hand the reins over to Ubisoft Montreal. It’s pretty obvious that the development had to be completely restarted at that point, which means that we are in for a long wait before it’s released.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time made an appearance with a brief teaser trailer revealing that the classic adventure. Rebuilt from the ground up and now entering its full production phase – will launch in 2026. Ubisoft Montreal, with support from co-dev studios in Toronto, Bucharest, Paris, and Pune, will bring the Prince and Farah’s story to life.
