How to fix Low Memory and Too Many Constructs Nearby errors in LEGO Fortnite

If you’re an avid LEGO Fortnite builder, you’ll be pleased to learn the High Complexity warning is no more. However, limits still exist, so here’s how to fix the Low Memory and Too Many Constructs Nearby errors in LEGO Fortnite.

Before we ***** into fixes, let me quickly explain what these new warnings are, as they matter to players with busy worlds. The High Complexity warning that has existed since launch is now replaced by two new error messages. Unfortunately, this means that High Complexity still technically exists, but we now have a few ways to combat it.

If you see the Low Memory warning during gameplay, it means you’re reaching the building cap for your world. The Too Many Constructs Nearby error tells you that builds in the local area are becoming too complex.

Fortunately, Epic Games has outlined fixes for each error. The solutions are far from perfect, but it’s a good start. I hope we can completely get rid of these limits in the future.

The Low Memory error has similar fixes to the High Complexity warning. Unfortunately, the best way to fix the error is to reduce the amount of constructs and buildings currently in your world. It sucks to take a pickaxe to your creations, but if there’s an unused village nearby, it may free up some space.

Moving away from dense areas and exiting and re-entering the world are other potential fixes. The problem with the latter is the issue will likely reappear as you’ve not changed the complexity of the instance.

If you see this error show up, it usually means that you have too many complicated builds in a small area. You can try to fix this by spreading your builds or reducing the number of parts in each one.

I love internal decorating in LEGO Fortnite as much as anyone, but you can quickly reduce build complexity by removing some furnishings. Epic Games suggests using larger parts instead of multiple smaller ones as another way around the Constructs warning.

As I mentioned earlier, these solutions aren’t perfect. Still, this is one of the first times these issues have been addressed. Hopefully, progress will continue in future updates.
