players itching for some kind of new experience in the Forgotten Realms should definitely check out this mod which manages to transform the RPG into an action-packed roguelike. While Larian Studios' sprawling Dungeons & Dragons game may not initially appear to function like a randomly-generated roguelike, it certainly has the variety needed to make the genre truly sing. With hundreds of different locations, items, and enemies, it stands to reason that all of these factors could be swirling together to create an experience that rewards flexibility and careful strategy.
