It will also release on the Nintendo Switch, but that’s still a little ways down the line. In a press release, Fireside is billed as a “heartwarming adventure through the great outdoors” where you can foster friendships with fellow travelers. Acting as the debut game of Emergo, it looks to have a charm to it. In the game, you jump into a fantastical world filled with charm thanks to its hand-drawn landscape and colorful cast of characters. You can expect non-violent gameplay, like trading and bartering, chatting around the campfire, cooking any of its 50+ recipes, renovating your home base, and more. As explained by Nordcurrent head of publishing, Andrius Mackevičius: ”It’s an experience crafted to provide solace and joy, brimming with lovable characters, tranquil vistas, and a sprinkle of enchanting mystery.” Fireside is out now on PC through Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store. A Nintendo Switch version is heading out on June 18.
