The Mystery of Soap’s Return in Call of Duty Modern Warfare III Has Finally Been Answered data:image/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns=Soap was a supporting character in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and 3. As it turns out, the mission in the trailer takes place in 2022, before the events of Modern Warfare III. This means that Soap is indeed *****. Season 4 of MW3 takes place prior to the events of the game’s campaign, which means Soap is still technically ***** in the game’s overall story.
