New Stronghold trademark filed by Firefly Studios

Firefly Studios, the creator of the historical real-time strategy series Stronghold, has filed a new trademark recently pointing to a potential new entry to the series. Last year, we saw Stronghold: Definitive Edition drop and the studio has been focusing on putting out post-launch content since.

Firefly, which was acquired by Devolver Digital in 2021, has been making Stronghold games intermittently since 2001, debuting the studio itself with the series.

While Firefly is under Devolver, this push to purchase the studio was mostly to beef up its portfolio as it went into the London Stock Exchange.
