returns after a lengthy hiatus, many members of the community aren't pleased with how developer Player First Games handling the transition of resources from the beta to the full release. The 1.0 release has generally been well received by players and critics, many of whom have championed some smart changes to the movesets of various characters and the expanded roster that includes some fighters no one ever expected to see. Unfortunately, enthusiasts are also irked by how the Gold collections were handled with many pinning the blame on Warner Bros.
