Diamond Member Pelican Press 0 Posted March 17 Diamond Member Share Posted March 17 ***** the Justice League Would Be Half as Good as Helldivers 2 It has only been a month since Helldivers 2 was released, but it has shown gamers and other developers what it truly means to create a live-service title. One developer who should learn from Arrowhead’s remarkable success is Rocksteady and its ******** Squad: ***** the Justice League game. Even though both games have only been out for a short time, Helldivers 2 has managed to receive a lot of positive reviews from the gaming community after it continuously delivers on its promise of a live-service game that never stops growing and changing. data:image/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns=Helldivers 2 takes the stage as the best live service of all time, according to gamers. If you aren’t familiar with the term live service, it is usually associated with a game project that is constantly updated over the course of its life with new content. Whether it be new locations, new ****** types, new weapons, and so much more. Helldivers 2 has seemingly delivered on the live service tag and has ensured that constant updates are brought to the game, whether we know about them or not, whereas ******** Squad: ***** the Justice League has barely provided any of the live service content at the time of writing. So far, gamers have been over the moon with the way Arrowhead Game Studios has been running Helldivers 2, as every time you log in, there is something new to do as the universe is constantly evolving. But for now, ******** Squad: ***** the Justice League has sadly been left behind by the gaming community, as once a player is done with the main story content, they are done. Along with this constant feed of content, Helldivers 2 has managed to provide all of this new content for free, besides its warbonds, which can either be earned in-game or by purchasing them with money. The real kicker is that all of this content is here to stay, whereas in other live service games, it will leave after some time. data:image/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns=******** Squad should learn from Helldivers 2 about being a live service game. When it comes to live service games, some gamers will attempt to avoid them, as they are generally frowned upon by the gaming community, as older live-service titles have ruined the idea of an evolving game. One This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up /X user called Synth Potato has even commented about how the title has managed to change how the gaming community views live service games, to the point where they have even stated that it is currently “the best live service game of all time.“ It’s so incredible how Helldivers 2 is handling teasing future content, Strange blue lights appearing, New ****** types that only appear for very few people, etc No roadmap + constant new content and teases is making this the best Live Service of all time This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up — Synth Potato This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up This begs the question as to what ******** Squad would have been like if it followed suit with Helldivers 2 and provided players with a constant feed of content, even if it was small content, rather than large drops over seasons. What do you think about Helldivers 2 being the best live service of all time? Do you think ******** Squad could have done better by following Helldivers 2’s methods? Let us know in the comments!
