CDPR looks at releasing games more often

Looks like CD Projekt Red is eyeing a more frequent release schedule for its games. The goal is to make its release schedule “less lumpy.”

, the company was asked whether or not it could handle working on multiple projects at a time, with the studio pointing out that it’s already working on two games and, at the same time, worked on Phantom Liberty. Meanwhile, ****** CEO Michał Nowakowski also goes through the laundry list of studios under its banner and what each is working on.

Cyberpunk 2 is mostly in its Boston branch while Polaris is mostly in Europe alongside Project Sirius with aid from The Molasses Flood. There’s also the remake of the original The Witcher using Unreal Engine 5 and in collaboration with Canis Majoris. It’s also worth pointing to its first original IP — codenamed Hadar — is also in the works.

All that is to say that CDPR is looking at a more streamlined game release schedule with a bunch of projects in the works alongside each other. It seems like the majority of its team is working on Polaris, which is more widely known as the next entry to The Witcher series.

It was also recently spotted that the last staffers working on Cyberpunk 2077 have been pulled into other projects, marking an end to its support.
