When games as big-scaled as Wuthering Waves get launched, their competitors surely feel the ground shake in preparation. ). Success is meeting the game in many ways but one. The English voice actors have constantly been criticized, with players choosing to switch to other languages instead.

The voice acting, especially that of the Rover, seems too off-putting. In some places, it lacks emotions while in others the synchronization is practically negligible. This got many fans concerned because the range of voice actors wasn’t one that lacked talent. So understanding what went wrong also became a topic of concern.

The lack of emotions matching otherwise strong scenes wasn’t something gamers found good and to no one’s surprise, started comparing it to Genshin Impact again. Ironically enough, Alejandro Saab, the voice actor of *****’s Paradise’s Gabimaru and Genshin Impact’s Cyno, had the perfect explanation.

When Two Worlds Come Together

Alejandro Saab has worked on not only many renowned animes but also just as many games as well. From The Last of Us Part II to **** of War: Ragnarök, his range is one that stretches not just for dubbing but also with that of many other games like Persona 5.

Wuthering Waves’ biggest competitor as of now and in the gamers’ eyes stands as HoyoVerse games. Being a voice actor for that very company, it was wonderful to see him standing up for the voice actors with a perfect explanation for the lack of coordination.

It’s per game basis. I don’t know how Kuro records, but with Hoyo if it’s a pre-rendered cutscene they would you the animation. But this could be a case when they didn’t have visuals ready? Happens a lot hence why the mouth doesn’t match the voice unless reanimated.

However, there might be a strong chance that Kuro Games won’t do the same. Perhaps the voice actors had no clue about what their characters were doing when those lines were spoken.
