Sparking Zero has Fans Wondering if One Saga has Been Intentionally Excluded

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero continues to drop mindblowing teasers and exciting information as time goes by. We recently got info on more characters that will be joining the roster, and the presence of one particular character has people questioning if an entire arc of people will be left out.

The game has included characters from the original show, Super, and Z. Daima and GT have been left out so far, but there was still hope—until Kakunsa’s entry into the roster was announced.

The new Dragon Ball game might omit GT and Daima characters from its roster

Scans from the latest Vjump Magazine edition have shown us that there’s another batch of fan favorites joining the game’s roster.

The new batch of characters were categorized into Power vs. Speed. While there’s a lot of familiar faces, fans spotted one particular character that made them question whether the game would include characters outside of Super and Z.

Kakunsa (or Sanka Coo) can be spotted at the bottom of the Speed poster. She’s a character from Supera—a member of the Kamikaze Fireball warriors from Universe 2.

So far, the roster hasn’t seen any Daima or GT-exclusive characters, which is very telling. Fans suspect we won’t see any at all, for now at least.

However, there was one optimistic fan who felt that all hope wasn’t lost yet. User ItachiSolosGG says:

GT and Daima will be DLC. I personally don’t mind because otherwise GT will be somewhat half baked if it has to share his roster spots with Super instead of getting their own roster spots through a dlc. I want all the GT characters instead of simply having only a few of them.

Do you think they’re right? Well, you better hope so, as that might be the only way we see them in the roster.

The Roster Still Won’t Disappoint

What other characters could join the roster?

Regardless of whether we’ll see more characters from other Dragon Ball series in a future update or separate DLC, there’s no denying how stacked the roster currently is.

Since the initial announcement, more characters have been revealed for the Sparking Zero roster. The first 24 characters announced included Base Goku from both Super and Z series in various stages, Super Saiyan iterations of Goku, Super Saiyan **** Goku, and Super Saiyan **** Super Saiyan Goku.

Vegeta makes his appearance with Base and Super Saiyan forms, along with Majin Vegeta and Super Saiyan **** forms. Broly and Trunks also join the lineup, alongside villains like Cell, Frieza, and Majin Buu.

Notable additions include Jiren, Android 17 and 18 from Super, as well as Piccolo, Krillin, Yamcha, Tien, Hercule, and Bergamo. More character announcements followed this initial list.

Unfortunately, we still don’t know when we can finally hop onto the game and try out the ***** Budokai Tenkaichi entry, but speculation says toward the end of 2024 or early 2025.

What other characters from the DB series are you hoping will join the Sparking Zero roster? Let us know in the comments below!
