As part of its earnings report for its financial year ending March 2024, Embracer noted that while some of its releases sold in line with expectations, Pieces Interactive’s survival horror reboot didn’t.

It also noted that Outcast: A New Beginning, a sequel to 1999 action game Outcast, performed similarly poorly.
