While the map is entirely renewed when a new chapter starts, it's common for season-themed locations to be replaced with the release of a new season. On top of this, the several updates that are done throughout a season also tend to add landmarks and other interesting areas, and sometimes even remove them, especially when there's a connection with the game's lore.
