There’s no doubt that Call of Duty is one of the most popular video gaming franchises, and now the only thing remaining is its Hollywood debut. 

It may be surprising, but Activsion Blizzard was planning a Call of Duty movie. The company was working on a live-action Call of Duty cinematic franchise, which was supposed to feature Henry Cavill. Unfortunately, Activsion Blizzard’s plans never came to fruition, and in 2020, it was confirmed that the movie’s production was halted due to internal reasons.

Initially, Sollima expressed interest in bringing names such as Tom Hardy and Chris Pine to lead the Call of Duty movie.
