Unveiled last week, *********’s Creed Shadows is apparently flying off the pre-order shelves, with “no one in the know” disappointed. Numbers are public, but we can kind of get a feel for its strong sales.

We got a first-look at the game itself last week with its world premiere trailer, starring the dual protagonist route, players control a stealth-focused shinobi, Naoe, and historical figure, Yasuke, who seems to foster more of an offensive play style.

In some bitter news tied to it, though, just like Star Wars Outlaws, even if you buy the game physically, you’ll need an internet connection to install the game. Ubisoft, meanwhile, is in love with its high-priced tiers — we assume — with players able to spend as much as $129.99, with exclusive weapons, armor, a Photo Mode filter, and more.
