Of all the board games, wargames, card games, and RPGs I checked out at Gen **** 2026 (in between meetings, atrocious burritos, and cowering in fear of tornadoes) my preview of War for Roshar, with its designer John D Clair, was among the more surprising highlights. Why should I be surprised to be excited about Brotherwise's third and latest Brandon Sanderson board game, you ask?
