Today is the day gamescom 2026 presents its Opening Night Live to the world from Germany, and here’s all of the info you need to know!

Gamescom kicks off today at the Koelnmesse convention center in Cologne, Germany, with the annual presentation showcase, Opening Night Live. The showcase will take place today, August 25, and will be hosted by Geoff Keighley. Geoff Keighley has three big annual showcases a year, and gamescom 2026 ONL is the second, acting as the filling between Summer Game Fest and The Game Awards.
