Fuse Games CEO and co-founder Matt Webster has told VGC that Star Wars Galactic Racer “has to be accurate” to the in-game timeline, adding “who knows” when asked if Anakin Skywalker will ever appear in the game.

In the full interview – which can be watched below – Webster explains that, because the game is set in the post-original-trilogy era of Star Wars, the only characters who appear in the single-player and arcade portions of the game are canonically alive at the time of the story.

When asked if Anakin would ever appear in the game, Webster said: “The thing there is, we need to be accurate, but that’s okay when you have experts.”
