Baldur's Gate 3 developer Larian studios – specifically, senior communications developer Aoife Wilson – has been streaming a Dark Urge playthrough of its own RPG for over a year now. On August 5, somebody, or some automated system, finally had enough of the game's stupid, sexy devils and flagged the latest stream as inappropriate, so risque are its characters.

The notice reads: "Your LIVE 'Larian's Dark Urge Run: Claws' streamed on 08/05/2026 at 12:46pm has been discontinued because of a violation: Body Exposure and Sexualized Behaviors."

"Getting banned on your birthday is such a cool & edgy thing to do," Douse adds, clocking Baldur's Gate 3's third anniversary.

vod to see what happened, and, well, there is indeed body exposure and sexualized behavior. Wilson reaches the hellish House of Hope in Act 3 and ends up tangled in bed with demonic denizens. An emergency D20 sticker, slapped over the stream like a ****** bar, can't keep up with all the exposure.

"Good for her. Good for us. Good for everybody," Wilson says of one sexy scene. There's just one problem.

"Why are Haarlep's nipples not censored?" Wilson wonders, referring to her conspicuously nude ****** partner. Her custom character's own nipples are decidedly censored, seemingly thanks to the nudity settings used for the run. "Why are the nipples not censored?" she asks again, the D20 censor struggling to keep up with Haarlep.

I doubt this scene was somehow missed by the in-game censor all these years, so maybe one of the mods used in this run interfered or a setting just got borked. Either way, the outcome angered the internet's censor gods, making for a very funny example of a developer getting smacked for streaming its own game.
