has announced a comfy, self-published party simulator, Bon Vivant. According to a press release, the game allows players to “become the talk of socialist circles by hosting amazing parties where you decide what’s on the menu, the decoration, and who the lucky guests will be.”

Designed for fans of easy strategizing where the emphasis is on designing a fun time, meeting mood goals to unlock interesting characters, and living your cosy Agatha Christie party dreams minus the ******* (unless someone kills the mood), Bon Vivant lets you host unforgettable soirées in the City of Light.

The city has many famous characters, from Picasso to Orwell, and their opinions of you will be determined by whether your party is a hit or not. Guests arrive, admire your home, and chat amongst themselves. As you watch the socialising unfold, decide what and when to serve your menu to partygoers.

A run lasts 12 months, and during each run, you will typically host four to six parties while the game world around you evolves, impacting food prices, introducing new businesses to browse, and offering sales on objects to spruce up your home.

Serve up a great menuOnce you’ve got the ingredients you need for spicy cocktails and delicious food, you can prepare everything needed to keep stomachs full and spirits high. Serving food can boost how much guests enjoy the party, while drinks can also increase enjoyment but will reset conversations.

GuestsEligible guests come with mini biographies that detail their financial status and personality traits. There will be 40 playable characters available to unlock.
