they can only be described as monstrous – but with the new content has come new controversy.

Social media is being, well, social media. Amid all of the praise Palworld 1.0 is receiving, there are folks hoping to spur a bit of negativity, apparently – a seemingly never-ending story for the survival game, which has been in the limelight since its early Pokemon comparisons back in 2024.

Recent conversations have caught the eye of head of Pocketpair publishing and communications, John "Bucky" Buckley, though. He reveals as much in a new online

It's important to note that this isn't the first time Bucky has commented on online "hate," so to speak. Earlier this year, he referred to what he jokingly called

in an interview with us, saying that ultimately, they're "not really" the developers' problem to deal with.

"There's a couple accounts out there that make it their life's mission to, almost daily, go after us," he said. "But at this point, just, who cares?"

That's a good way to think about it, if you ask me – and like I said earlier, Palworld certainly isn't hurting for positive feedback. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a base to go build.
