Xbox and 343 Industries Make Moves that Could Easily Point to Halo Mobile Being in Development

Xbox, in particular, is finding the current generation to be a challenging business. Halo Infinite, one of their first console launches, was not even complete. According to Sura, an X insider at 343 Industries, the team behind the game has just registered a new unknown ID. This could mean that they are working on a new game in the franchise.

The timing is a little suspicious;

has just announced that it will open mobile stores, so there are also speculations about a possible mobile game from this very popular IP.

A new Halo mobile game could be a possibility, according to an insider.

The last few games in one of the most popular video game franchises have ******* to meet Xbox’s expectations. Halo has become a game that not every fan of the console is excited to play; this is mainly because of the quality of the games. The last game literally launched in an incomplete state, especially regarding its multiplayer, which had almost no shape or form. Months later, it released more content.

343 Industries has proven to not be the best successor to Bungie, the title once one of the go-to places for every fan of the first-person shooter genre. Sura, an X insider, reports that this studio has unexpectedly registered two new IDs.

This company released its last title in 2021, a year behind Xbox’s original plans, and even launched the entire first wave of Series X with Master Chief in the box but without a game.

A new ID has been registered for the Xbox ecosystem.

This mysterious register is just in line with the recent move that

made about opening mobile stores, something that the brand has attempted in the past. There is a possibility that 343 Industries is working on a mobile version of Halo. This will not be the first time that a big company makes the mistake of launching a big IP on mobile, expecting that the audiences are interested in that kind of format.

Since the release of Infinite, there has been no other mention of any game in the franchise. Since almost three years have passed, it is not a bad time to announce a new project from the popular franchise, especially in the multiplayer aspect. This particular game has struggled from the start to make live-service content for the game, with almost no releases of seasons or new things whatsoever.

A win with an IP that has resulted in good sales in the past is needed, but there are no clues about what this project could be. The brand showcase will take place on June 9, and rumors are circulating that a new Gears could happen at any time. But after the layoffs and studio closings, it will be hard to make fans excited about any kind of announcement.

should really think hard about what to show.
